Housing Survey

Carlisle City Council will shortly be carrying out a district-wide housing needs survey. This will give them a better idea of the housing needs of residents.

On Monday, 9 May 2011, 10,000 surveys will be sent out to a range of households across the district; residents will then have three weeks to return their forms. All returned forms will go into a prize draw to win £100.

The survey is extremely important, as it will help the City Council get an accurate picture of the need for new housing in the district. Information on the required sizes, types and tenures of housing (for example sale or rent, open-market or affordable) across the district will support the City Council in its planning and housing strategies.

Any information collected through the survey will remain anonymous.
